Calling Young Disabled Campaigners: Shape a New Youth Disability Strategy

The Youth Organising Alliance Launches National Consultation to Build a Powerful Disability Justice Strategy and Is Calling for Your Input.

The Youth Organising Alliance has launched a vital consultation to inform its new UK-wide strategy for supporting young disabled organisers and activists. This initiative aims to strengthen the ecosystem of youth-led disability justice work by identifying key barriers and co-designing effective support.

The Alliance is calling on young people (16-25) with lived experience of disability, long-term health conditions, or additional needs to share their insights.

Contributors can share their experiences through a short survey, which will investigate the current challenges faced by groups, the support most needed, and how networks can be strengthened. Participants can also register interest in a dedicated online gathering for deeper discussion.

The findings will be compiled into a public report to help funders, policymakers, and organisations better support the disabled youth-led sector.
